J. Ross Robertson Cup
The J. Ross Robertson Cup is a prestigious trophy awarded annually to the champion of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). Named after J. Ross Robertson, a prominent figure in Canadian hockey, the cup has been a symbol of excellence in junior ice hockey since its inception in 1898.
Teams in the OHL compete throughout the regular season and playoffs for the chance to lift the cup. The winner of the Robertson Cup also earns the right to compete for the Memorial Cup, which includes champions from other major junior leagues in Canada.
