J-Type Thermocouples
J-Type Thermocouples are temperature sensors made from two different metals, typically iron and constantan. They generate a voltage that changes with temperature, allowing for accurate temperature measurements. J-Type thermocouples are suitable for a range of applications, particularly in environments up to 750°C (1382°F).
These thermocouples are known for their reliability and cost-effectiveness. They are commonly used in industries such as manufacturing, food processing, and HVAC systems. However, they are less effective in high-temperature environments compared to other types, like K-Type Thermocouples, which can withstand higher temperatures.
