J-2 Visa
The J-2 Visa is a non-immigrant visa that allows dependents of J-1 Visa holders, such as spouses and children, to accompany or join them in the United States. This visa is specifically designed for family members of individuals participating in exchange programs, such as educational or cultural exchanges.
J-2 visa holders can study and may apply for work authorization while in the U.S. However, they must maintain their status as dependents of the primary J-1 Visa holder. The J-2 visa is temporary and typically valid for the duration of the J-1 visa holder's program.
