Islamic societies
Islamic societies are communities where the majority of people practice Islam, a monotheistic religion founded in the 7th century by the Prophet Muhammad. These societies can be found in various regions, including the Middle East, North Africa, and parts of Asia, and they often share cultural, legal, and social practices influenced by Islamic teachings.
In Islamic societies, the Qur'an serves as a central religious text, guiding moral and ethical behavior. Many of these communities celebrate important events such as Ramadan, a month of fasting, and Eid al-Fitr, a festival marking the end of Ramadan. The diversity within Islamic societies reflects a wide range of languages, traditions, and interpretations of Islam.
