Islamic Call to Prayer
The Islamic Call to Prayer, known as Adhan, is an important ritual in the Islamic faith. It is announced five times a day from a mosque's minaret or through loudspeakers, inviting Muslims to perform their obligatory prayers, or Salah. The call is delivered by a muezzin, who recites specific phrases that express the greatness of Allah and the importance of prayer.
The Adhan serves as a reminder of the spiritual duties of Muslims and fosters a sense of community. Each call includes phrases like "Allahu Akbar" (God is the Greatest) and "Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah" (I bear witness that there is no god but Allah), emphasizing the core beliefs of Islam.
