Iranian Football Federation
The Iranian Football Federation (IFF) is the governing body for football in Iran. Established in 1920, it oversees all aspects of the sport, including the national teams, domestic leagues, and player development. The IFF is responsible for organizing competitions and ensuring that the rules of the game are followed in the country.
The federation is a member of both the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and FIFA, the international governing body for football. It plays a crucial role in promoting football at all levels in Iran, from grassroots initiatives to the national team, which competes in international tournaments like the FIFA World Cup.
