Interstate 47
Interstate 47, often referred to as I-47, is a proposed highway in the United States that aims to connect the states of Louisiana and Texas. The route is intended to enhance regional connectivity and support economic development by linking major cities and transportation hubs.
Currently, I-47 does not exist as a fully designated interstate. However, planning and discussions are ongoing to establish this route, which would facilitate travel and trade between the Gulf Coast and the broader southern region of the country.
