International Surfing Association
The International Surfing Association (ISA) is the world governing body for the sport of surfing. Founded in 1964, it promotes surfing globally and oversees international competitions, including the World Surfing Games. The ISA aims to develop surfing as a sport and ensure its integrity and growth.
In addition to organizing events, the ISA works to promote surfing's inclusion in the Olympic Games. The association also focuses on environmental sustainability and ocean conservation, encouraging surfers to protect the oceans and beaches they enjoy. Through various programs, the ISA supports surfers of all levels and fosters a sense of community within the sport.
