International Snowboard Federation
The International Snowboard Federation (ISF) is the governing body for the sport of snowboarding worldwide. Established in 1994, the ISF is responsible for organizing competitions, setting rules, and promoting the sport at all levels. It aims to ensure fair play and the development of snowboarding as a competitive sport.
The ISF works closely with national federations and other organizations, such as the International Olympic Committee (IOC), to facilitate the inclusion of snowboarding in major events like the Winter Olympics. The federation also focuses on athlete safety, environmental sustainability, and the growth of snowboarding culture globally.
