Intermissions
An intermission is a scheduled break during a performance, such as a play, concert, or film. It allows the audience to stretch, use restrooms, or purchase refreshments. Intermissions typically last between 10 to 20 minutes, depending on the event and venue.
In addition to providing a break for the audience, intermissions can also give performers a chance to rest and prepare for the next act. They are common in theatrical productions and some film festivals, where longer films may include a pause for viewers.
