Intellivision is a home video game console released in 1980 by Mattel. It was one of the first systems to offer advanced graphics and sound for its time, featuring a unique controller with a numeric keypad and side buttons, allowing for more complex gameplay.
The console had a library of over 125 games, including popular titles like Astrosmash and BurgerTime. Although it faced stiff competition from Atari and other systems, Intellivision is remembered for its innovative features and contributions to the early gaming industry.
