Infrarot
Infrarot refers to a type of electromagnetic radiation that has longer wavelengths than visible light, typically ranging from 700 nanometers to 1 millimeter. It is not visible to the human eye but can be felt as heat. Infrarot is commonly used in various applications, including remote controls, thermal imaging, and night vision devices.
Infrarot radiation is divided into three categories: near, mid, and far infrarot. Each category has different properties and uses. For example, near infrarot is often used in communication technologies, while far infrarot is utilized in heating applications and medical therapies.
