Indiana Governor
The Indiana Governor is the head of the executive branch of the state government in Indiana. This position is responsible for implementing state laws, overseeing the state budget, and managing various state agencies. The governor also has the power to sign or veto legislation passed by the Indiana General Assembly.
Elected to a four-year term, the governor can serve a maximum of two consecutive terms. The governor plays a crucial role in addressing state issues, representing Indiana at the national level, and working with local governments. The current governor, as of October 2023, is Eric Holcomb.
