Incisor
An incisor is a type of tooth found in humans and many other animals. These teeth are located at the front of the mouth and are primarily used for cutting and slicing food. Incisors have a flat, sharp edge that makes them effective for biting into fruits, vegetables, and other soft foods.
Humans typically have eight incisors, four on the top and four on the bottom. They are categorized into central incisors, which are the two middle teeth, and lateral incisors, which are located next to them. Proper care of incisors is essential for overall dental health.
