Inaba Province
Inaba Province was a historical province located in what is now Tottori Prefecture on the western coast of Japan. It was known for its rich natural resources, including fertile land and abundant seafood, which supported local agriculture and fishing industries. The province played a significant role in the development of regional culture and trade during ancient times.
During the Edo period, Inaba Province was divided into several domains, each ruled by different feudal lords. The area is also famous for its association with the Inaba no Shirogane, a legendary white hare from Japanese folklore. Today, remnants of its historical significance can still be seen in local festivals and traditions.
