Ikenobo
Ikenobo is a traditional style of Japanese flower arrangement, known as Ikebana. Originating in the 15th century, it emphasizes harmony, balance, and simplicity. The arrangements often feature a minimal number of elements, focusing on the beauty of each flower and branch.
The founder of Ikenobo, Senkei Ikenobo, established the first school of Ikebana in Kyoto. This art form has evolved over the centuries, incorporating various techniques and philosophies, but it remains rooted in the principles of nature and the changing seasons. Ikenobo is recognized as one of the oldest and most influential schools of Ikebana.
