Iguanodontia
Iguanodontia is a group of herbivorous dinosaurs that lived during the Late Jurassic to the Late Cretaceous periods. They are characterized by their large size, strong limbs, and distinctive thumb spikes, which may have been used for defense or foraging. Iguanodontians are part of the larger clade Ornithopoda, which includes other well-known dinosaurs like Hadrosaurus.
These dinosaurs were primarily bipedal but could also walk on all fours. Their diet consisted mainly of plants, and they had specialized teeth for grinding vegetation. Fossils of Iguanodontia have been found in various parts of the world, providing valuable insights into their behavior and ecology.
