Ifrit
An Ifrit is a supernatural creature found in Arabic mythology and Islamic folklore. Often depicted as a powerful and fiery spirit, Ifrits are considered to be a type of jinn, which are beings created from smokeless fire. They are known for their strength and can be both benevolent and malevolent, depending on the story.
In various tales, Ifrits are associated with deserts and are often portrayed as guardians of treasures or as adversaries to humans. They have appeared in literature, such as in the famous collection of stories known as One Thousand and One Nights, where they are depicted as formidable beings with magical abilities.
