Idaho Court of Appeals
The Idaho Court of Appeals is an intermediate appellate court in the state of Idaho. Established in 1982, it reviews decisions made by lower trial courts, ensuring that legal procedures and interpretations of the law are correctly applied. The court helps to alleviate the caseload of the Idaho Supreme Court by handling a variety of civil and criminal cases.
The court consists of three judges who hear cases in panels. Their decisions can be appealed to the Idaho Supreme Court, but not all cases are eligible for review. The Idaho Court of Appeals plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of the state's judicial system.
