Ice Watch
Ice Watch is an art installation created by artist Olafur Eliasson in collaboration with geologist Minik Rosing. It features large blocks of ice harvested from Greenland, placed in public spaces to raise awareness about climate change. As the ice melts, it serves as a visual reminder of the impact of global warming.
The installation aims to engage viewers emotionally and intellectually, prompting discussions about environmental issues. By witnessing the melting ice, people can reflect on the urgency of climate action and the need for sustainable practices to protect our planet.
