Ice Hockey Rules
Ice hockey is played on a rectangular rink with two teams of six players each. The objective is to score goals by hitting a puck into the opposing team's net. Players can use their sticks to pass, shoot, and control the puck, while also checking opponents to gain possession.
Games consist of three periods, each lasting 20 minutes. If the score is tied, overtime may occur. Players must follow rules regarding penalties, such as tripping or slashing, which can result in time spent in the penalty box. The team with the most goals at the end wins the game.
