IOI
The term "IOI" stands for "International Olympiad in Informatics," which is an annual competitive programming event for high school students. It aims to foster interest in computer science and programming among young people worldwide. Participants solve algorithmic problems within a set time frame, showcasing their coding skills and problem-solving abilities.
The first IOI was held in 1989, and it has since grown to include participants from over 80 countries. Each country sends a team of up to four students, along with a leader and a deputy leader. The event promotes collaboration and knowledge sharing among future computer scientists and programmers.
