INFN
INFN, or the Italian National Institute for Nuclear Physics, is a research organization in Italy dedicated to the study of nuclear and particle physics. Established in 1951, it conducts experiments and develops technologies to explore fundamental questions about the universe, including the behavior of matter and the forces that govern it.
The institute collaborates with various international research projects, such as the Large Hadron Collider at CERN, to advance scientific knowledge. INFN also plays a significant role in training new scientists and promoting public understanding of physics through outreach programs and educational initiatives.
