INEP
INEP, or the National Institute for Educational Studies and Research, is a Brazilian government agency responsible for evaluating and improving the education system in Brazil. Established in 1937, it conducts assessments, such as the ENEM (National High School Exam), to measure student performance and inform educational policies.
The institute also develops educational materials and conducts research to enhance teaching and learning practices. By analyzing data and trends in education, INEP aims to support the Brazilian Ministry of Education in making informed decisions to improve the quality of education across the country.
