IMPS
IMPS, or Immediate Payment Service, is a real-time payment system in India that allows users to transfer money instantly between bank accounts. Launched in 2010 by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), it enables 24/7 fund transfers through mobile phones, ATMs, and online banking.
The service supports both inter-bank and intra-bank transactions, making it convenient for users to send or receive money at any time. With its secure and efficient framework, IMPS has become a popular choice for quick payments, bill settlements, and person-to-person transfers across the country.
