IMGs
IMGs, or International Medical Graduates, are physicians who have completed their medical education outside of the country where they wish to practice. They often seek to obtain medical licenses in countries like the United States or Canada to work as doctors. IMGs may come from diverse backgrounds and medical schools around the world.
To practice medicine in a new country, IMGs typically need to pass specific exams, such as the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) in the U.S. They may also need to complete residency training and meet other requirements set by local medical boards to ensure they are qualified to provide care.
