IC 1274
IC 1274 is a bright emission nebula located in the constellation of Cassiopeia. It is part of a larger complex of star-forming regions and is known for its vivid colors, which are produced by the ionization of gas and dust by nearby young stars.
This nebula is approximately 10,000 light-years away from Earth and is often studied by astronomers to understand the processes of star formation. IC 1274 is also associated with the open cluster NGC 281, which contains several hot, young stars that contribute to the nebula's brightness.
