I.O.I was a South Korean girl group formed through the reality competition show Produce 101 in 2016. The group consisted of 11 members, who were selected from various entertainment companies. I.O.I gained popularity for their catchy songs and strong performances, quickly becoming a prominent act in the K-pop industry.
