Iñigo Urkullu
Iñigo Urkullu is a Spanish politician and member of the Basque Nationalist Party. He has served as the Lehendakari, or president, of the Basque Government since 2012. Urkullu is known for his focus on promoting the Basque language and culture, as well as advocating for greater autonomy for the Basque Country.
Born on September 18, 1961, in Gernika, Urkullu studied theology and political science. He began his political career in the 1980s and has held various positions within the Basque Government. His leadership has emphasized economic development and social welfare in the region.
