Hugh Lane
Hugh Lane was an Irish art dealer and collector, born in 1875 in County Antrim, Ireland. He is best known for his significant contributions to the art world, particularly in promoting modern art in Ireland. Lane established the Hugh Lane Gallery in Dublin, which became a key institution for contemporary art.
