HuffPost, also known as The Huffington Post, is an American news and opinion website founded in 2005 by Arianna Huffington, Ken Lerer, and Jonah Peretti. It covers a wide range of topics, including politics, entertainment, lifestyle, and technology, and features articles from both professional journalists and citizen contributors.
In 2011, HuffPost was acquired by AOL and later became part of Verizon Media after AOL was purchased by Verizon. The platform is known for its liberal perspective and has won several awards for its journalism, including a Pulitzer Prize in 2012.
