Huerquehue National Park
Huerquehue National Park is located in the AraucanÃa Region of Chile, covering an area of approximately 12,500 hectares. Established in 1967, the park is known for its stunning landscapes, including lakes, waterfalls, and ancient forests dominated by the native Araucaria trees, also known as monkey puzzle trees.
The park offers various hiking trails, with routes suitable for different skill levels. Visitors can explore the beautiful scenery, including the popular Los Lagos trail, which leads to several picturesque lakes.
