Houseflies
Houseflies are common insects found in many environments around the world. They belong to the family Muscidae and are known for their ability to thrive in human habitats. Houseflies have a short life cycle, typically living for about 15 to 30 days. They are recognizable by their grayish bodies and large, red compound eyes.
These insects are attracted to food, waste, and decaying matter, which they use as breeding sites. Houseflies play a role in the ecosystem by helping to decompose organic material. However, they can also carry diseases, making them a concern in areas where hygiene is important.
