House of Finarfin
The House of Finarfin is one of the noble houses of the Noldor, a group of Elves in J.R.R. Tolkien's legendarium. It is named after Finarfin, the son of Finwë and the brother of Fëanor. Finarfin chose to remain in Valinor rather than follow his brothers into exile, leading to a lineage that is often associated with wisdom and compassion.
Finarfin's descendants include notable figures such as Galadriel and Celeborn. The house is characterized by its loyalty to the Valar and a commitment to peace, contrasting with the more ambitious and often tragic fates of other Noldorin houses, particularly that of Fëanor.
