House Flies
House flies are common insects found in homes and other buildings. They are typically gray with four dark stripes on their thorax and have large, red eyes. Adult house flies measure about 1/8 to 1/4 inch in length and have a short lifespan of about 15 to 30 days.
These flies are attracted to food, waste, and decaying matter, making them potential carriers of diseases. They feed by regurgitating digestive juices onto food, which can lead to contamination. Effective control methods include maintaining cleanliness and using traps or insecticides to reduce their population.
