Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination
The Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE) was a public examination in Hong Kong for students completing their secondary education. It was typically taken by students at the end of Form 5, around age 16. The examination assessed students' knowledge in various subjects, including languages, mathematics, and sciences, and was a key factor for further education opportunities.
The HKCEE was replaced by the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education (HKDSE) in 2012. The new examination system aims to provide a more comprehensive assessment of students' abilities and better prepare them for higher education and vocational training.
