Homecoming Court
The Homecoming Court is a traditional event in many high schools and colleges, celebrating school spirit during the Homecoming festivities. It typically consists of a group of students, often nominated by their peers, who represent their class or school. Members of the court are usually recognized for their involvement in school activities, leadership qualities, and positive contributions to the school community.
During the Homecoming event, the court is often presented at a football game or a special ceremony. The highlight is the crowning of the Homecoming King and Homecoming Queen, who are usually elected by the student body. This event fosters school pride and encourages student participation in school events.
