Holy Roman Emperor Francis I
Holy Roman Emperor Francis I reigned from 1804 to 1835 and was the first emperor of the Austrian Empire. He was born on February 12, 1768, and was a member of the House of Habsburg-Lorraine. His reign was marked by the challenges of the Napoleonic Wars, during which he lost significant territories and influence.
Francis I was known for his conservative policies and efforts to restore the power of the monarchy after the upheaval caused by the French Revolution.
