Holland Code
The Holland Code, also known as the RIASEC model, is a career assessment tool developed by psychologist John L. Holland. It categorizes people and work environments into six personality types: Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, Enterprising, and Conventional. This system helps individuals identify their strengths and preferences, guiding them toward suitable career paths.
By matching personal interests with job characteristics, the Holland Code aims to improve job satisfaction and success. Many career counselors use this model to assist clients in exploring options that align with their personality types, ultimately fostering a better fit between individuals and their work environments.
