Hilma af Klint
Hilma af Klint was a Swedish painter and one of the pioneers of abstract art. Born in 1862, she created a series of groundbreaking works that explored spirituality and the unseen world. Her paintings often featured vibrant colors and geometric shapes, reflecting her interest in theosophy and spiritualism.
Af Klint's most famous series, The Paintings for the Temple, was created between 1906 and 1915 and consists of over 190 pieces.
