Hiller Aircraft
Hiller Aircraft was an American aerospace company founded in 1944 by George Hiller. The company specialized in the design and manufacture of helicopters and other vertical lift aircraft. Hiller is known for its innovative rotorcraft, including the Hiller UH-12, which was widely used for agricultural and utility purposes.
In addition to helicopters, Hiller Aircraft also developed the Hiller Flying Platform, a unique personal flying device. The company played a significant role in advancing helicopter technology during the mid-20th century, contributing to both military and civilian aviation. Hiller Aircraft ceased operations in the 1970s but left a lasting legacy in the aerospace industry.
