Hickam Air Force Base
Hickam Air Force Base is located in Honolulu, Hawaii, and serves as a key installation for the United States Air Force. It was established in 1935 and is named after Major General Thomas Hickam. The base plays a vital role in supporting air operations in the Pacific region.
In 2010, Hickam Air Force Base was merged with the nearby Pearl Harbor Naval Base to form Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam. This joint base enhances military collaboration and efficiency, providing essential services and facilities for both the Air Force and Navy personnel stationed there.
