The Hesperides are figures from Greek mythology, known as the nymphs of the evening and the golden light of sunset. They are often depicted as beautiful maidens who tend a magical garden filled with golden apples. These apples were a gift from Gaia, the Earth goddess, and were said to grant immortality to those who consumed them.
In many myths, the Hesperides are associated with the hero Heracles, who was tasked with retrieving the golden apples as one of his twelve labors. The garden is often located at the edge of the world, guarded by a fierce dragon named Ladon, making the quest both challenging and adventurous.
