Hermannus of Reichenau
Hermannus of Reichenau was a Benedictine monk and scholar born around 1013 in what is now Germany. He is best known for his contributions to music theory, mathematics, and astronomy during the early Middle Ages. Hermannus was a member of the Reichenau Abbey, where he produced various works that influenced both religious and scientific thought.
