Herman Hupfeld
Herman Hupfeld was an American songwriter and composer, best known for his work in the early 20th century. He was born on February 28, 1894, in New York City and became prominent in the music industry during the 1930s. Hupfeld is particularly famous for writing the classic song “As Time Goes By,” which gained renewed popularity through its inclusion in the film Casablanca.
