Henry M. Morris
Henry M. Morris (1918-2006) was an American engineer and creationist, best known for his role in promoting the belief in a young Earth. He co-authored the influential book, The Genesis Flood, which argued against the theory of evolution and supported a literal interpretation of the Bible regarding the origins of the Earth.
Morris founded the Institute for Creation Research (ICR) in 1970, which aimed to provide scientific support for creationism. His work significantly impacted the creation science movement, advocating for the teaching of creationism in schools and challenging the acceptance of evolutionary theory in scientific and educational contexts.
