Henry Frelinghuysen
Henry Frelinghuysen was an American politician and lawyer born on December 29, 1817, in New Jersey. He served as a member of the United States House of Representatives from 1861 to 1863, representing the state of New Jersey. Frelinghuysen was a member of the Republican Party and was known for his support of the Union during the American Civil War.
In addition to his political career, Frelinghuysen was also involved in various civic activities and held several local offices. He came from a prominent family, with his grandfather, Frederick Frelinghuysen, being a notable figure in New Jersey's early history. Henry Frelinghuysen passed away on December 18, 1884.
