Henry Cow
Henry Cow was a British avant-garde rock band formed in 1968 in Cambridge, England. The group was known for its experimental approach to music, blending elements of jazz, classical, and progressive rock. Their unique sound often featured complex time signatures and improvisation, setting them apart from mainstream rock bands of the time.
The band consisted of members Fred Frith, Tim Hodgkinson, John Greaves, and Chris Cutler. They released several influential albums, including "Legend" and "Unrest," before disbanding in 1978. Despite their relatively short career, Henry Cow left a lasting impact on the progressive and experimental music scenes.
