Hendon Aerodrome
Hendon Aerodrome, located in Hendon, London, was one of the first airfields in the United Kingdom. Established in 1910, it served as a base for military and civilian aviation. The aerodrome played a significant role during both World Wars, hosting various aircraft and training pilots.
Today, Hendon Aerodrome is home to the Royal Air Force Museum, which showcases the history of aviation and the RAF. Although the aerodrome is no longer used for commercial flights, it remains an important historical site, preserving the legacy of early aviation in Britain.
