Hellhammer
Hellhammer was a Swiss extreme metal band formed in 1982, known for its raw sound and aggressive style. The band played a significant role in the development of the black metal and death metal genres, influencing many future artists. Their music featured heavy guitar riffs, growling vocals, and dark themes.
Despite their short-lived career, which ended in 1984, Hellhammer left a lasting legacy. The band's demo tapes and songs were later compiled and released posthumously, gaining a cult following. Members went on to form the influential band Celtic Frost, further shaping the metal scene.
